Lovely chair - terrible quality controlAnonymousWe bought 4 of these chairs on the 25th of May 2020 and upon inspection all 4 chairs have damage on them. The chairs come pre-assembled and have cardboard covering the wooden seat and foam like material covering the metal powder coated legs. The legs are fine but all the seats have permanent damage from the cardboard package, It’s a shame I can’t post photos because the damage is extremely obvious. If it was one chair only, I would assume its due to transport or something, but all 4 is something else. The chairs themselves look awesome but this is extremely disappointing from IKEA. To make it worse, as someone with serious mobility issues, having to now go back to sort this issue out is going to be a huge mission. What a shame. Oh and don’t bother trying to call, you will be waiting at least an hour or so with no option for a call back.
