Great little cooktop; especially handyGangeswariGreat little cooktop; especially handy on sunny days that we use it, as we have solar.
Stores away neatly and easy to clean
I've now bought two ofTessaI've now bought two of these portable cooktops. I've cut back my use of gas cooking to almost nothing. It's a great way to experiment with this way of cooking without investing in the full cooktop. I imagine it would be great for renters.
ExcellentMariaUse it a lot the other hot plates are just to slow to heat up
Using instead of gas forJulieUsing instead of gas for cleaner air inside.
Portable Induction 2024JudiIt's a great little item for use while solar is producing. Goes down really low I didnt use over 5 for searing.
Says indoor but is great in the patio on a hot day.
Only down side I missed reading, turns off after 2 hours so can not put a stew on and leave it as half cooked stew. So back to frying then using a slow cooker.
is all good, ths sMaurois all good, ths s the second one i buy
okRichardI love the simple controls.
I am disappointed with the very small size of the heating element. It has the smallest area out of my 3 different hotplates. useless for a large frypan

Reliable ApplianceJillBought this for our liveable shed several years ago. It has been used almost daily & not missed a beat. Ours is the old model with a built in timer which we never used. Coating on glass is just starting to deteriorate but that may be from our kids cleaning it with harsh products. Still works perfectly in spite of that. Will be buying the new model for our caravan.
CooktopShannynHeats up and cools down quickly. Easy to clean.
Love it! Haven't burnt anythingWendyLove it! Haven't burnt anything as it is easy to control the heat
Great cook topSuzanneI got this to try in our rental as our new home will have induction cooktop. This has worked really well I especially like the safety features that it will not turn on/heat if there is no pot on the hotplate.
Induction test runMarkI bought this to see what induction cooking was like. It is great. I use it all the time and my gas stove less so. It works well, is a bit noisy but not as bad as my exhaust fan. It's also great value for money compared to other alternatives.
Perfect for tiny house livingWendyThis cooktop is brilliant. Can cook with large or small pots and pans. Then tuck away in drawer freeing up bench space. Quickly brings liquids to the boil and simmers perfectly. Great for rice and slow cook stews. Not full 5 stars for this one because previous version was better (as it came with built in timer)
It’s GreatCathyRead lots of reviews on this and similar products. This one seemed to have the highest positive reviews. I am really happy with it, works exactly as stated.
Great quality, heats up quickAlyshaPortable (great for our caravan), heats up quickly and does the job! Feels well made too.
Bit noisyCinAfter the appliance is turned off, it gets in to cool down mode which has a fan running. The fan doesn't seem to stop even though the it is completely cool. One time I found the fan was still on over night. Otherwise works well for the price.
Great for cooking butRichardTillreda unit is great for cooking and general use BUT the cooling fan turns on by itself, hours after use, and didn’t turn off after two hours. Cooktop was cold. This has happened numerous times.
Great not having to useDenniGreat not having to use gas any
