SEGLORA cover is made of aniline leather which is the finest type of leather of the highest quality. As it ages, it becomes softer and gets a darker tone and fine patina.

Aniline leather has an unaltered surface that is treated with just a thin, protective coating. This gives it great breathability while retaining its natural look with marks that make each cover unique.

The seat and back cushions provide comfortable support for your body and easily regain their shape because they’re filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibres.

Good to know

The leather on this sofa will become softer and acquire a darker tone with time. This is natural for full-grain leather, which is treated with only a light surface coating for protection.

Due to its unaltered surface, aniline leather can have natural marks like wrinkles and scars, colour variations and be more sensitive to sunlight, dirt, liquids and scratches than leather with full coatings.

Proper care keeps the aniline leather in top condition. Use the soft brush attachment on your vacuum and, if needed, wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth.

I love the seat cushions which are firm and never sagging as well as the back ones which support the back well and have a nice natural shape. Coordinated with the right cushions it's perfect!5
High quality but the back cushions are very badTomasNicely made. Good materials but the back support cushions are terrible. Got them changed once already and they collapse after just couple months. Also the bottom cushion are not secured with anything to the base of the sofa and they slide out all the time which is incredibly annoying. Some loops with buttons or velcro strips would solve this issue. Knowing how Ikea vigorously test their products I am not sure how this quite important thing could go through their designing process.3

What are leathers, skins and hides?

Leathers, skins and hides are durable, hardwearing materials that we strive to produce as responsibly as possible.
