However, there was a noticeable odor when I first opened it. I would recommend leaving it outdoors with the lid open for a few days before use to allow the smell to dissipate.

Sturdy foot stool with storageAlisonPerfect for what I was after. It collapses into flat pack if/ when not on use which was very convenient for transportation and pops up with ease. It is sturdy enough to sit on in addition to storage inside the foot rest. Great value for money and exactly met my needs.
