Good product, but lack of instructionsBuckytheLabradorThe assembly was surprisingly straight forward. You'll want a rubber hammer/mallet to smack down the shelves into the metal cyclinders that go into the frame grooves, you'll need a flathead screwdriver to get those metal cyclinders out of the shelves, you will also need a power drill to screw in the x metal reinforcement that keeps the shelf sturdy and the supporting frame for the red drawer underneath one of the shelves. Easy to assemble if you know this beforehand. I think IKEA could pay someone to go through and build it's products and put more detailed instructions up on their website. It's really sturdy and the quality of the pine is great. You can choose how much space there is between each shelf and if you need to readjust the shelves it pops out pretty easily if you have that rubber mallet. The instructions are rather lacking though which is part of the product. The tips above should help and that's why I've left them here. Likewise, the back x metal frame was positioned based on the picture on the website - middle to lower on the back. There is about a 0.6mm hole between the shelf and the left and right side frame there is no way to make that space smaller, but for me that doesn't really affect anything. It works great as a side table and the drawer it comes with is great. Stickers on each shelf are hard to take off.4
