An extra warm duvet in soft cotton, filled with 60% duck down and 40% duck feathers.

The high amount of down in the filling makes the duvet light and fluffy.

The stitched inner walls retain the heat, giving you a warmer sleep environment.

Down and feathers are natural materials which helps to regulate body temperature and maintain comfort throughout the night.

The duvet is machine-washable at 60°C, a temperature that kills dust mites.

Down and feathers are natural materials that sometimes have a slight smell. The smell is harmless and fades over time. Airing or washing , and drying it thoroughly in a dryer, helps the smell fade faster.

Tumble dry after washing until the filling is completely dry.

This product is flammability tested and complies with standard EN ISO 12952-1.

This product is flammability tested in accordance to standard CAN/CGSB 4.2 No 27.5 and meets the requirement of flame spread time ≥7.1 sec.

Initially it did have a smell of feathers but after a good shake and airing in the sun and breeze on the clothesline and a bit of a spray with Glen-20, the smell has completely gone. This is definitely a winter duvet, have had a couple of mornings of zero degrees, I don’t sleep with heating on but have not been cold. How to care for your down/feather duvet

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your down/feather duvet and keep it fresh. The filling has a natural smell which can be reduced by airing or washing. Wash the duvet separately with a mild detergent (1/3 of the normal amount) on delicate cycle at 60°C. Avoid bleach/fabric softeners. Tumble dry immediately on low heat. A dryer ball or a high-quality tennis ball in the dryer will ensure more efficient drying. Air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
