Arsted Light fittingBarryArstid looks great and throws a good amount of light perfect for close to ceiling mount. Whilst it looks great the actual assembly may mean it doesn't sit well. The magnetic extensions that support the shade tend to be a bit loose (all you need is one) and the shad will then sit at an angle which is annoying and can take a while to sort. Also needing a sparky to fit may mean they aren't so good at assembling it. I would recommend it with the above caveats.4
Super happyLizaOkay I wasn’t to happy that I had to pay an electrician to wire up the light but once it was done it looked amazing , even the Electrician commented how beautiful it looked and asked me why I brought it from when I said IKEA for only $40 he was shocked as he said if it was from Beacon lighting or in at the lighting company would’ve easily been $150 plus it looks super gorgeous in my bedroom and I love it5

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
