Can we come over?
We want to hear from you and see how you live at home so we can continue to offer smart home furnishings solutions for you.

What is a “Home Visit?”
A home visit is when a group of 3 - 4 IKEA co-workers go into a customer’s home to study how they live. The purpose is to identify the different areas of the home that our customers need solutions for and bring that information back to the store.

What is involved for someone who volunteers to participate in a home visit?
Home visit involves the following:
1. Allowing 3-4 IKEA representatives into their home for approximately 2 hours
2. Allowing for photos and measurements to be taken for internal use only
3. Participating in a interview

What are the requirements to participate in a home visit?
For this visit, we are looking for homes that are located in Arlington, Burke,Ashburn or Herndon. The homeowner must be present at the visit.

I'm in, what's next?
Fill out the home visit survey application and email it to Chosen applicants will be contacted for further instructions. If you didn't make it to participate in this round of visits, please try again the next time we put out the call for more home visits next year.

IKEA Woodbridge now has a solar energy system!
As part of our commitment to sustainability, IKEA has installed a solar energy system atop this store. The 63,000 square foot array consists of a 504-kW system, built with approximately 2,100 panels.

The IKEA Woodbridge solar program will produce approximately 636,199 kWh of clean electricity annually. That is equivalent of reducing 439 tons of carbon dioxide, eliminating the emissions of 86 cars or powering 55 homes yearly.
Life Improvement Challenge
IKEA Woodbridge - Making a Difference in our Community
This is the 4th year of the IKEA Life Improvement Challenge; a program in which IKEA US customers & co-workers vote on a charity who will win a complete makeover including IKEA products & design expertise. IKEA is honored to be a part of making life better for these charities. Thank you for your support. CARITAS & The Healing House s the largest provider of homeless services in the Metro Richmond area, filling in the gaps in homeless services so people in crisis can find stability. The Healing Place (a homeless recovery space) received an IKEA makeover to refresh three rooms so that 12 peer mentors can teach and motivate other men. This has been a huge morale booster and shows them that they are appreciated.
