How to shop IKEA Tampa
The IKEA experience begins ...
Start upstairs in the Showroom. Grab a store map/shopping list, pencil, measuring tape, and yellow bag. You won't need a shopping cart in the Showroom -- you'll want your hands free to explore our 49 room settings and three model homes.

Soak in the details. Everything will inform and inspire you!

Explore on your own. IKEA's friendly and knowledgeable co-workers in yellow shirts are available to help you, when you're in need of assistance.

Read the tags. Sizes, colors, choices, care info ... it's all there. Red tags tell you where to pick up your selections in the Self Serve Warehouse. Yellow means you ask co-worker for help.

Make yourself at home
Sit down, relax, put your feet up. Lie on the beds. Try all the sofas. Snoop! Open drawers, peek in cabinets, test-drive everything. Relax. The kids can touch too. In fact, we call IKEA a "please touch" zone! Ask us. Still wondering about something? Inquire at any Information Desk located throughout the store. An IKEA co-worker in a yellow shirt will be happy to help you find that perfect product or solution to give your home that little something extra.

Picking up your furniture
The Self-Serve Warehouse is where you'll find -- and pick up -- the furniture you saw in the Showroom. Refer back to your shopping list where you wrote down the aisle and bin number of the products you wanted to buy. Upon entering the Self Serve Warehouse, you'll grab a flat cart and find the location of your items. All aisle and bin numbers are shown in red. Just look for the big red signs.

It's because you collect your furniture yourself that we can keep our prices low. You save money when you shop IKEA!

Finalizing your purchase
At IKEA, we accept cash, major credit cards, the IKEA Credit Card, and IKEA Gift Cards. Should you prefer to use your debit card, we'll give you 1% back in the form of a coupon (at the bottom of your reciept), good for your future IKEA purchases.

You won't find throwaway bags at IKEA. This helps to keep plastic out of landfills. What you will find is our oversized, reusable big blue bag. It's waterproof, nearly indestructible, can be used over and over, and only 59¢!
