Most IKEA products are designed to be assembled by the customer, but if you prefer, we can recommend an independent in-home assembly or installation service.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
It's OK, you can bring it back. IKEA allows you to return unused items in original packaging within 90-days of purchase, as long as you have a receipt. A receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Ask a co-worker for exclusions.

You may exchange your mattress once within 90 days if you don’t love it. Return your mattress with your receipt to the store and select your new mattress. We are unable to exchange your mattress if your merchandise is found to dirty, stained, damaged or abused. See store or catalog for more details.

Local Recycling Efforts

Visit the IKEA Seattle Recycling Center, now with Styrofoam Recycling

Don’t forget on your next visit to IKEA Seattle to check out our Recycle Center located in the main garage, just to the left of the entrance to our Customer Service department.

We’ve dedicated this special area as collection point for our customers to bring their used light bulbs and IKEA cardboard boxes for recycling at IKEA. In addition to those items, we also recycle Styrofoam, in partnership with V&G Styro Recycle. Bring your #6 Styrofoam to IKEA Seattle for recycling at the Recycle Center and it will be ground up, compressed and then densified into blocks, which are then manufactured into commonly used plastic products such as picture frames, TV and computer monitor casings, office equipment and much more!

Thanks for helping us do our part for the environment, and keep these items out of our landfills.

SMÅLAND play area - just for kids!

Here at IKEA Seattle we have a special supervised play area called SMÅLAND. Kids can color, watch a movie or cartoons in the theater, play games or use the age-appropriate active play areas. There's no charge, and all children between the heights of 37" - 54" are welcome to visit once per day for up to 1 hour. For hygienic reasons, children must be completely potty trained and capable of using the restroom without assistance.
Good to know information about SMÅLAND:
- Children between the heights of 37" - 54" may play in SMÅLAND for up to 60 minutes per day.
- Children must be fully potty-trained. No diapers or pull ups of any kind are allowed.
- Children must be fully clothed. (Girls must have pants on over swimsuits and boys must have a shirt over swim trunks.)
- The parent must remain in the store while their children are in SMÅLAND. Parent must show photo ID. The person who checks in the child is the only person that can check out the child.
