IKEA Round Rock offers a wide array of family friendly services to make your shopping experience more complete. At IKEA Round Rock you'll find:
- playhouses throughout the store
- family restrooms
- strollers
- bottle warmers, high chairs, and a play area for children in the restaurant
- Free children's activities throughout the year
- meals for children
Our expansion is underway!
IKEA Round Rock is extending its self-serve furniture area while relocating and refreshing some key customer service areas. At this point, all demolition work has been completed to make way (and room) for the expanded store and new parking structure. For the next steps of the effort to grow the store, we now are focused on erecting more wall panels the length of the building, and then will be extending the roof above the expanded part of the warehouse. Additionally, we are busy constructing the three-level parking structure that will ensure there are just as many parking spaces for our customers as they were before the construction work began. We are excited about the progress and cannot wait for our Central Texas customers to experience our larger store with a larger warehouse holding larger amounts of products.
Solar panel installation
IKEA has announced plans to install solar panels on the roof of this IKEA store. We are excited by this commitment of IKEA to use renewable energy, reduce our carbon footprint and continue to improve the lives of the many.

At IKEA Round Rock, we dedicate our social responsibility efforts to support organizations that help improve the environment in which children develop in our local communities, so children achieve their fullest potential through supporting their learning and development. The mission of IKEA is to create a better everyday life for the many. IKEA Round Rock works to do this in our community by supporting local non-profit organizations that work to help children and the environment.
IKEA Round Rock focuses on the following priorities:
• Organizations whose primary focus is children.
• Programs where we can utilize IKEA expertise and products.
• Local community initiatives where the environment is a priority.
• Programs that promote diversity, and include as many people/children as possible.
