IKEA Soft Toys
November 1 - December 24, 2009
$1 is a Fortune!
Give a gift that gives this holiday season: IKEA Soft Toys!

For every soft toy you buy between November 1 - December 24, 2009, IKEA will give $1 to UNICEF and Save the Children to support children around the world.

Join the choir at IKEA.com/SOFTTOYSAID. Record your own voice singing along with a song recorded especially for this event- or dance as a soft toy. It is fun!

Together with you we can give children a better future!

Good for the Environment
Spotlight On Children
Help bring a little light in the dark for those in need.

For each SUNNAN solar cell powered lamp you buy, we donate one to UNICEF. These environmentally friendly lamps will go to children in developing countries, so they can read, write and study after sunset, even if their homes have no electricity.

In addition to doing something great for kids- you'll be helping the environment and your pocket book. These lamps come with two rechargeable AA 1.2V batteries for solar cell driven products, so all you have to do it give it sun. No plug in required. No cost on your electric bill. No CO2 emissions. They're great for camping in the woods and the back yard too!
Now that is what you call a BRIGHT idea!

IKEA Portland Community Support
The mission of IKEA is to create a better everyday life for the many. IKEA Portland works to do this in our community by supporting local non-profit organizations that work to help children and the environment.

Please click below to read our Community Support Guidelines. If you feel your organization fits the bill- fill out the Application Form and send it in. It's a long process, so don't expect an answer for at least 90-days.

Because our resources are limited, IKEA Portland has defined criteria for requests that we do NOT fund. Traditionally, they include but are not limited to: individual requests, religious, political or fraternal organizations, activities that involve contests, table sponsorships, sporting events, door prizes, raffles, auctions or advertising.
