Vote to Bring an IKEA Firehouse Makeover Home to Oregon!
Thousands of deserving firehouses from across the country were nominated by their communities to win an IKEA Rescue Remodel. One of the five finalists is in Oregon- the Sheridan Fire District! Help them win a new IKEA kitchen!
The firehouse with the most votes will receive a truly heroic kitchen renovation valued at $25,000. And since it’s all from IKEA, it will be full of smart and innovative ideas to make their lives a little bit easier so they can better protect our communities.
The Sheridan Fire District has been serving the community for more than 100 years and their kitchen really looks like it! The kitchen hasn’t had any upgrades since it was built in 1986 and it is in real need of a makeover. Every day paid staff and resident interns, volunteer firefighters and community organizations use the space. A state of the art IKEA kitchen will help reward these heroes for the great work they do in Sheridan.

Due to the volume of requests received, we only consider requests two times a year- in the spring and fall. The next deadline for consideration is March 9, 2012.
If you sent in an application for our September 9, 2011 deadline, we appologize for the delay in processing applications. Expect to hear from us within the next 2 months.
