Let's Play for Change
Join our Good Cause Campaign, Let’s Play for Change, which highlights the benefits of play for all Children. For every children’s book and toy sold through November 20- December 24, 2016, the IKEA Foundation will make a donation of $1 to projects in some of the poorest communities in the world.

This year IKEA Long Island is proud to be collecting toy, game and book donations for the John Theissen Children’s Foundation. This foundation has been serving our community since 1992 by distributing donations to sick and underprivileged children in hospitals and child-care facilities. They also provide assistance to families in need with medical expenses and fulfilling wishes. The donation area is located in IKEA between our cash lanes and our Bistro area. Please help us make the holidays better for the tiny recipients of the John Theissen Children’s Foundation toy distribution this year.

Thanks for helping us decide which charity should get an IKEA makeover!
After weeks of your voting and support, this year’s IKEA Life Improvement Challenge winners have been chosen! Click on the link below for the complete list of winners who each won an IKEA makeover of a space that helps to improve the lives of others. The runners up will also receive a donation of IKEA products as a token of our appreciation for participating in this year’s contest. Since 2011, over 200 local charities have received over $1.5 million in IKEA products, design expertise, and manpower! This year, IKEA Long Island will be working with the YES Community Counseling Center to makeover a kitchen in their YES Commerce Plaza location in Levittown in order to better serve the students that utilize that facility.
