Hiring Events at IKEA Dallas
PSSSSST... We're hiring! We're always looking for talented, creative & motivated individuals to make IKEA what it is.

We're hosting two hiring events in the IKEA Restaurant on the second level on Saturday, June 11th from 9.30AM to 11AM and on Wednesday, June 15th from 2PM to 5PM.

We'll be hiring seasonal co-workers for various areas and departments across the store.

If you have a passion for IKEA, Customer Service and Home Furnishings, we would love to meet you!

*Must be able to work through the end of September to be considered!

After weeks of your voting and support, this year’s IKEA Life Improvement Challenge winners have been chosen! The runners up will also receive a donation of IKEA products as a token of our appreciation for participating in this year’s contest.

Since 2011, over 200 local charities have received over $1.5 million in IKEA products, design expertise, and manpower!

This year, IKEA Dallas will be working with The Samaritan Inn to remodel the entry intake area in order to create a welcoming space for homeless people who come for help to gain dignity and independence.
IKEA US is an American Red Cross Disaster Responder
Bringing safety and comfort to families during emergencies with the American Red Cross. Last month, IKEA created over 4,300 care packages to be used in emergency situations by local American Red Cross chapters. These care packages will allow the chapters to respond proactively in emergency situations. Each care package is a FRAKTA blue bag filled with IKEA items including sheets, pillows, towels, and washcloths.
Scan your IKEA FAMILY card to support children’s literacy in the US
Throughout the month of May, every time you scan your IKEA FAMILY card, IKEA will make a donation to Save the Children’s Early Steps to School Success literacy program. Together, we can make a difference!

IKEA Dallas now has a solar energy system!
As part of our commitment to sustainability, IKEA has installed a solar energy system atop this store. The 114,000-square-foot array consists of a 912-kW system, built with approximately 3,780 panels.

The IKEA Frisco solar program will produce approximately 1,336,300 kWh of clean electricity annually - the equivalent of reducing 1,016 tons of carbon dioxide, eliminating the emissions of 181 cars or powering 115 homes yearly.
