Lets Play for Change
Join our Good Cause Campaign, Let’s Play for Change, which highlights the benefits of play for all Children. For every children’s book and toy sold November 20 through December 24, 2016, the IKEA Foundation will make a donation of €1 to projects in some of the poorest communities in the world.

IKEA Dallas will host play activities for our visitors during that time:
- Tuesdays 5-6pm: game night with Monica in the IKEA Restaurant
- Thursdays 11a-12p: game morning for preschoolers in the children's department
- Saturdays & Sundays 2-3pm: entertaining the youth in the youth department
- SMALAND scavenger hunt

IKEA Dallas now has a solar energy system!
As part of our commitment to sustainability, IKEA has installed a solar energy system atop this store. The 114,000-square-foot array consists of a 912-kW system, built with approximately 3,780 panels.

The IKEA Frisco solar program will produce approximately 1,336,300 kWh of clean electricity annually - the equivalent of reducing 1,016 tons of carbon dioxide, eliminating the emissions of 181 cars or powering 115 homes yearly.
