The Votes Are In!
Congratulations to the 40 ‘Life Improvement Challenge’ winners… and thanks to our IKEA US customers and co-workers for their overwhelming support.

This is the 4th year of the IKEA Life Improvement Challenge; a program in which IKEA US customers & co-workers vote on a charity who will win a complete makeover including IKEA products & design expertise. Additionally, runner ups will win gift cards.

After weeks of tremendous voting support, the 40 charities have been selected. These charities help make a difference in each of their communities, and IKEA is pleased to be a part of making them warm, welcoming and functionally attractive.

Thank you for your support and know that these charities do as well.

Donation request guidelines
IKEA College Park in the community!
At IKEA, we take our mantra “to create a better everyday life for the many people” very seriously. IKEA is committed to improving children’s education and the environment both around the world and in our own backyard.

If you know of a local, non-profit organization that can benefit from the many solutions the IKEA product range provides, please send us a letter with an overview of the organization; include an outline of the project, a summary of the products needed, and a copy of the 501C-3 status. Only organizations that have a wide reach in the community and benefit either children or the environment will be considered. Unfortunately, due to the large volume of requests received we cannot respond to all. For more details about the IKEA College Park donation policy, click on the link. Please note, inquiries must be in writing, with at least 90 days advance notice. We do not accept phone or in-person requests.
