We love electric cars
At IKEA, sustainability means ensuring environmental, economic and social well-being for today and tomorrow. That’s why we have electric vehicle charging stations available for our visitors and our community to use. We want to enable our customers to live more sustainable lives, and this journey begins at our stores.

Electric vehicles have zero tailpipe emissions. By offering EV charging stations, we are supporting our visitors to reduce their carbon footprint. This furthers our commitment to have a positive impact on people and the planet.

Don’t forget to bring your Blink Incard to charge your car while you shop

Bring the Kids!
A visit to IKEA is fun for the whole family! We encourage you to bring the kids – they’ll love exploring our room sets or making new friends at Småland, our supervised play area. Småland Our FREE supervised play area (located in the entrance lobby) is for children between the heights of 37-54" who are potty-trained (no pull-ups). Kids can play in this safe, imaginative environment for up to an hour! Småland closes 30 minutes before the store closes.

Play areas throughout the store (unsupervised) Take a break from shopping for a little play time at any of the surprise play areas located throughout the store.

Relax in our restaurant while the kids watch a movie and play in the designated kid area. Swing by the children's department and let the kids try out our toys! Keep your eye out for the fun play towers located in a variety of areas throughout the store.

Creating a better life for people and our communities
IKEA College Park in the Community
We at IKEA College Park want to help create a better life for those in need in the greater DC region. Some of the organizations we have worked with are:

• Room to Rebloom/House of Ruth
• DC Diaper Bank
• Capital Area Food Bank
• Maryland No Kid Hungry
• A Wider Circle
• One Common Unity
• Shepherd's Cove Shelter

Below is a link for details regarding our community support guidelines. Due to the overwhelming number of donation requests received, our giving is very focused and while we wish we can support all worthy organizations, we simply cannot.

The guidelines and application will determine if your organization is a fit within our giving policy. Please understand that although your organization may fit one or more of the requirements, this is not a guarantee that your request will be honored.
