Midsommar Smörgåsbord
"Midsommar" (Midsummer) is celebrated in many parts of the world as the longest day of the year. In the nothern parts of Sweden, the sun actually never sets and there is daylight both night and day. Join us for our Midsommar celebration!

● Farmers Cheese, $8.99 lb., a semi-soft, mild and flavorful cheese that slices and melts well
● Fontina Cheese, $8.99 lb., is made from part-skim milk and is sweet, creamy, and semi-soft
● Greve Cheese, $8.99 lb., is called "Swedish Swiss Cheese" and has a sweet nutty flavor
● Herrgard Cheese, $8.99 lb., has a good melting ability and is similar to gouda
● Prastost Cheese, $8.99 lb., is creamy, semi-hard and distinctive with a rich, strong flavor
● Vasterbotten Cheese, $10.99 lb., is the "emperor of cheese" and is strong and rich.

Try this at home
Salad with hot smoked salmon
Serves 4, Time: 25 minutes
This is what you need from our Swedish Food Market:
● 1 package of LAX VARMROKT ($12.99)
● hot smoked salmon; 2 pc BROD TUNNBROD ($1.99)
● thinbread; 1 jar SAS SENAP BASILKA ($1.99)
● mustard basil sauce; 3.5 oz. OST LAGRAD ($5.99)
● aged cheese.
This is what you need from the grocery store: 2 heads Romaine lettuce.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
Cut the thinbread into long ribbons, place on sheet pan, brush them with a little olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Bake until brown and crispy; about 10 minutes.
Cut the Romaine lettuce in rough pieces and put it in a big bowl.
Pull the hot smoked salmon into chunky pieces and add the salad.
Grate approximately 3.5 oz. of the cheese over the salad and pour the mustard basil sauce over as well.
Mix and put it on a serving dish. top with the crispy bread sticks
