Life Improvement Project
We have a winner!
The votes are in for which project in our local community will receive $10,000!

IKEA Bolingbrook would like to congratulate DuPage PADS for winning $10,000! The money will provide furniture and household items for 76 apartments for families and individuals that have been homeless for more than a year and have a documented disability.

Thank you to our customers and co-workers for voting and making a difference in the Chicagoland community.

Solar panel installation
As part of our commitment to sustainability, IKEA has installed a solar energy system atop this store. The 140,300 square foot array consists of a 1,124-kW system, built with approximately 4,784 panels.

The IKEA Bolingbrook solar program will produce approximately 1,300,746 kWh of clean electricity annually - the equivalent of reducing 897 tons of carbon dioxide, eliminating the emissions of 176 cars or powering 112 homes yearly.
