Terrific!I was preparing the inside of a Moppe storeage chest and its drawers that I was going to use in the kitchen. I knew that untreated wood gets a patina I did not want. In researching wood treatment, I found out one of the top finishes was a mixture of beeswax and linseed oil--exactly the components of this product. This is how I applied the finish.
• Have a cloth to wipe up drops and the rim around the top of the can.
• Have something to stir the product (I used a drinking straw cut in half).
• I used a 1" brush.
• When applying the product, start by brushing across the grain. Place the loaded brush mid-panel, and then spread the product. Once the entire panel/side is covered, brush with the grain to make sure it is evenly spread.
• Do not let the product "tear" as this is hard to even out. I had to use the rag to clear the tear away, and reapplied the product.
I absolutely loved the result. This product keeps the lightness of the wood, and brings out the grain of the wood. It is slightly darker.
It dried to the touch w/in an hour. Clean up was easy; just wash/rinse the brush and you're done.
