Air your linens and mattresses regularly
Safe and healthy products are always the top priority at IKEA. IKEA strives to minimise the use of potentially harmful chemicals in all products – in particular children products. Removing these potentially harmful anti-mould additives from IKEA products can make these products more sensitive to environmental factors.

Mould spores exist all around us. Given the right conditions (humidity, warmth and organic material) these spores will attach to organic material and start to grow into visible mould.

To minimise the effects of humidity, air the mattress and bed linen regularly.
