Living Room Department

Step by step guide

Ordering online at IKEA is now easier than ever. To start browsing, you have the option of clicking 'All Products' or one of the 'Departments' on the yellow bar. Here we will click on 'Living Room'.
Fabric sofas

You will now see our selection of Living Room product categories. In this example, we will choose 'Sofas & Armchairs' and then 'Fabric Sofas'. You will then see images of all our products in that category. Click on your choice, e.g. EKTORP.
Product Information

The is the product information page. If the product has more than one colour or size option, there will be a drop-down menu showing the options. Click the option that you want and the price and product information will update accordingly.
Add to shopping cart

Specify the quantity you require and click the blue button Add to shopping cart.
Back to shopping

To continue shopping, click the blue button Back to shopping.
Begin Checkout

Ready to go to the Checkout?

From the Shopping Cart Overview, if you are ready to continue... click Begin checkout.
Shipping

Step 1: Shipping

New customers: Enter your shipping information. Read our Privacy Policy and tick the box to confirm that you agree to it, then click the orange button Save & continue.

Returning customers: Simply log in and you’ll go straight to - Step 2 - Review your order.
Review your order

Step 2: Review your order

Review your order, shipping information. Use the edit and update links to make any changes.
Order confirmation

Step 3: Thank You!

IKEA will send you an acknowledgement email. In the meantime, we suggest you print out a copy of this page for your records.

An IKEA Direct co-worker will contact you within 1 business day to confirm your order, advise delivery costs and finalise payment.
Profile registration

New customers can set up an online profile at this stage, to make future shopping even easier with IKEA Direct!
