	General Warranty Conditions The IKEA Everyday Quality Limited Warranties last for the number of years stated in the specific text for each product, starting from the date of purchase. What will IKEA do to correct the problem? IKEA will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it's covered under the limited warranty. IKEA will then, under its sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or comparable product. In these cases, IKEA will pay the costs of the repairs, spare parts, labor and travel for repair staff the will incur, provided that the product is accessible for repair without special expenditure. This does not apply to any repair work not authorized by IKEA. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA or Whirlpool. If the item is no longer sold by IKEA, IKEA will provide an appropriate replacement. It is IKEA that, in its sole discretion, determines what constitutes an appropriate replacement. Conditions for the Limited Warranties The limited warranties are valid from the original date of purchase by the original purchaser of the product. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase. The limited warranites do not apply to normal wear and tear on products or to products that have been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. The limited warranites do not apply to normal wear and tear, cuts or scrathces, or damage caused by impact or accidents, or in the case of PAX/KOMPLEMENT and IKEA Kitchens, where the product has been moved. The limited warranties do not apply if products have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment. The limited warranty applies to the original purchaser and where the product is used for residential use only. CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE NOT RECOVERABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY.* Coverage terminates if the original purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the IKEA product. Some States and Provinces do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so this limitation may not apply to you. Care Instructions:* To be able to claim the limited warranty you need to follow the specific care instructions for every product. You will find all care instructions with or on the product. How country, provincial, and state law applies: This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from country to country, province to province, or state to state.

EKTORP 10 Year Limited Warranty What is covered: This limited warranty covers EKTORP sofas, armchairs, chaise lounges, and footstools against defect in material and workmanship in the following components: frame, legs, suspension, seat and back cushions, fabric slipcover and lining cloth. What is not covered: This limited warranty does not appy to EKTORP sofa beds and EKTORP NABBEN cushions. How long does the coverage last? IKEA STOCKHOLM 25 year warranty What is covered: This limited warranty covers IKEA STOCKHOLM leather sofa, fabric sofa and extra-wide armchair against defects in material and workmanship in the following components: frame, legs, suspension, seat and back cushions, leather, fabric slipcover and lining cloth. How long does the coverage last? This limited warranty is valid for 25 years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser for IKEA STOCKHOLM leather sofa, fabric sofa and extra-wide armchair. 	Faucets 10 year warranty What is covered: This limited warranty covers all faucets at IKEA except the LAGAN faucet against defect in material and workmanship. How long does the coverage last? Flooring 10 and 15 year warranty What is covered: This limited warranty covers the HEMSE and STAPP laminate floors for 10 years and covers the TUNDRA laminate flooring for 15 years from the original purchase date for the original purchaser as long as the floor laying instructions were followed carefully and correctly. This warranty also covers the LAKT, BALK and KVIST wooden floors against wear of the laquered layer for 10 years provided that it was used in a normal private home environment and that the laying instructions were followed carefully and correctly. This warranty is void under any circumstances that the floor was laid in a wetroom. It is also void were the surface layer has worn through due to incorrect use or cleaning methods, scratches, cuts, impacts or accidents. Floor Laying Warranty The floor laying warranty means that, if contrary to expectations, the customer does not succeed in laying the floor to their full satisfaction, we will, at full price, buy back the flooring materials and all the accessories purchased at IKEA. This warranty is valid for 3 months from the purchase date for the original purchaser and only with the original receipt. Click here for General Conditions

Kitchens 25 year warranty What is covered: This limited warranty is valid from the date of purchase and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following parts of the AKURUM kitchen systems and all of the parts in the BRAVAD and VARDE freestanding kitchen series: -Cabinet Frames -INTEGRAL Hinges -RATIONELL fully extending drawers, drawer fronts and drawer dampers, tempered glass and melamine shelves, wire baskets, bottom trays for cabinets, drawers under oven, floor-levels and dish drainers for wall cabinets. -Plinths -Legs -Cover Panels -Deco Strips/moldings -Countertops that are at least 3.8cm thick -Sinks What is not covered: Knobs and Handles and BRAVAD drawer dividers for deep drawers. Custom countertops are covered under a seperate warranty (see store for details). How long does the coverage last? 	PAX/KOMPLEMENT 10 year warranty What is covered: This limited warranty is valid from the date of purchase and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following parts of the PAX/KOMPLEMENT series: -frames -doors -hinges -sliding door mechanism -drawer gliders -shelves What is not covered: KOMPLEMENT wire baskets, box in plastic and pull-out shelf in transparent plastic. POANG 25 year warranty What is covered: This limited warranty covers the POANG armchair and footstool frames against defects in material and workmanship in the following components: layer-glued frame, supporting fabric, hardware and fittings. What is not covered: This limited warranty does not cover the POANG cushions, covers or nesting tables. How long does the coverage last? 	SULTAN 5 year or 25 year warranty What is covered: This 25 year limited warranty covers the SULTAN mattresses and bed bases against defects in material and workmanship in the following components: wooden frame and springs in the wooden base spring mattresses, springs in reversible spring mattresses, foam core in foam mattresses, latex core in latex mattresses, wooden frame and slats in slatted bed bases except for SULTAN LADE. The electric motor in the electrically operated beds carry a 5 year warranty. What is not covered: This warranty does not apply to any SULTAN mattress pads or the SULTAN LADE slatted bed base. How long does the coverage last? This limited warranty is valid for the purchase of the SULTAN mattresses or SULTAN bed bases for 25 years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.
