The IKEA Group co-operates with companies, trade unions, NGOs and organizations to develop and reinforce the impact of our work within social and environmental fields. By doing so we can learn, share experiences and accomplish more than if we work alone. From a social perspective the IKEA Social Initiative has partnerships with UNICEF and Save the Children. From an environmental perspective the IKEA Group has a partnership with WWF (the global conservation organisation). Through these partnerships we focus on preventing child labour and supporting responsible forestry in countries where IKEA conducts business.
Save the Children As the world's largest independent organization for children, Save the Children works to secure and protect children's rights to food, shelter, healthcare, education and freedom from violence, abuse and exploitation. Save the Children and the IKEA Social Initiative co-operate internationally and locally, and have a long relationship working to prevent child labor. Read more
UNICEF The United Nations Children's Fund is the world's leading organization for children. It focuses on issues affecting children in countries all over the world including child protection, child survival and development, quality basic education, gender equality and HIV/AIDS. The IKEA Social Initiative has supported UNICEF programmes for more than a decade and has a corporate partnership with the organization, working at an international and local level. Read more

WWF's mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by conserving the world's biological diversity, ensuring the sustainable use of renewable natural resources and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.
