IKEA Group figures at a glance The IKEA Group figures are based on the IKEA fiscal year (1 September 2006 to 31 August 2007). Sales for the IKEA Group for the financial year 2007 were up by 14 per cent to a total of 19.8 billion euros.

Purchasing IKEA has 45 trading service offices in 31 countries. This allows us to be close to our suppliers - about 1,350 in 50 countries - so we can monitor production, test new ideas, negotiate prices and check quality while keeping an eye on social and working conditions.

Distribution IKEA has 31 distribution centers in 16 countries. Using flat packs, transporting goods where possible by rail and sea, and utilising fuel-saving techniques allows us to be cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
Range Today's IKEA range consists of about 9,500 home furnishing articles, designed to be functional and good looking but at a low price.
