Return Policy

Purchased in the Store:
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the unused item to the IKEA store in its original packaging within 90 days unless noted below. A receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.

Mattresses: "Love it or Exchange it." You may return your mattress once within 90 days if you don't love it. Return your mattress with your receipt to the store and select your new mattress. We are unable to exchange your mattress if your merchandise is found to be dirty, stained, damaged, or abused.

Sorry, we cannot accept returns on used bedding (linens, quilts, pillows, and mattress pads), cut fabric, products from the As-Is department, and custom countertops.

Purchased on-line or over the phone:
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the unused item in its original packaging within 90 days of the shipment date.

You may return any item purchased on our website or through IKEA Direct Phone Order either by mail or contacting us by phone. Be sure to include your packing slip with any return by mail. A refund or credit will be issued to you for the value of the item(s) including any applicable taxes in the same form as original payment. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Please note we cannot accept returns on used bedding (linens, quilts, pillows, and mattress pads)

If you are returning merchandise shipped through one of our In-Home delivery companies, please call us at 800-434-4532 press the IKEA Direct Home Shopping option and we will arrange a pickup.

To return an item by US Postal Service or UPS, please include your packing slip and or order number and send the package(s) to:

Exchange Policy
Purchased on-line or over the phone:
Please report any visible damages or discrepancies within 5 days of your delivery. To arrange for an exchange of a damaged or defective item, you may either:
1. Send us an email. Please be sure to include your order number and details of the problem in your email.
2. Call us at 800-434-4532. Select option 2 for IKEA Direct Home Shopping. Please be sure to have your order number ready.


Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment.

For Transactions with original receipt:

Purchase made with cash: a cash refund will be issued. Cash accepted in IKEA Store only.
Purchase made with a credit card: a credit will be issued to the original credit card account.

Mattresses may be exchanged one time within 90 days of purchase for a store credit towards the purchase of another mattress. No refund will be issued. Please refer to the "Love it or Exchange It Mattress Return Policy.
