PROCEDURES FOR TV OUTLETS WITH PRODUCT LOAN REQUESTS
Thank you for your interest in IKEA home furnishings and accessories. For your convenience, outlined below is an overview of the procedures for TV media outlets interested in the IKEA product loan program. Due to the high volume of daily requests with tight deadlines, it’s not possible for us to accommodate all requests and IKEA does not guarantee fulfillment of all IKEA product loan requests from TV media outlets.

IKEA cannot consider any IKEA product loan requests for pilots of TV, movies or independent films, as well as trade shows, corporate events and student project requests.

TV Product Loan Requests
All submissions for TV product loan requests need to be evaluated and considered for approval by IKEA.

Please submit your request for consideration in writing via email to

- Indicate in your written submission the purpose of the product loan request for your TV outlet.

IKEA prioritizes opportunities for consideration that include the following:

- The required IKEA brand credit when featuring IKEA product loan items including IKEA (spelled in capital letters), IKEA toll-free phone order number: (877) 345-IKEA (4532)
(The toll-free IKEA phone order number is for your viewers interested in the IKEA product loan featured in your broadcast) and the IKEA web site address: www.IKEA.com.

- Involve an IKEA spokesperson during the segment broadcast.

- Provide an opportunity for an IKEA editorial element.

- Include a verbal mention of IKEA and its store location(s).

- Segment is filmed inside an IKEA store.

- TV outlet provides permission to feature the TV segment in our IKEA stores¿ room displays, which have a TV incorporated in the design of the store display.

- Communicate an exact airdate so we can inform IKEA co-workers and partners about the timing of the segment in advance.

- Send by overnight mail a copy of the segment as soon as it airs (preferably on DVD).

It is important to include all of the following in your written request:

- Type of crediting being offered to IKEA.

- Specify IKEA product name and description that you're requesting.

- The color of the IKEA product (many IKEA products are offered in multiple colors).

- The size of the IKEA product (many IKEA products are available in a variety of sizes).

- Please indicate the quantity of the IKEA product needed.

- The page number in the 2006 IKEA Catalog that the IKEA product image is located (please indicate if the product image is not in the 2006 IKEA Catalog).

- If you plan to alter the IKEA loaned products in any way, please indicate this in your request.

- Shipping address where the loaned IKEA product should be sent.

- Contact at shipping address including contact's phone number.

- Most importantly, indicate your DEADLINE date!

- Your complete contact information (full name, work and/or cell phone numbers, email).

If an IKEA product loan request is not available for loan, IKEA can recommend an alternate product suggestion for your consideration.

* If you feature an IKEA product that has been loaned to you, IKEA does not guarantee that this specific product is available at all IKEA store locations due to varied product inventory status at stores.

For your viewers' benefit, please include the detail of any alterations to an IKEA product loan item featured in your broadcast so viewers are informed that the IKEA product loan item has been modified.

Please confirm usage of the IKEA product loan by sending an email to christine.soner@memo.ikea.com and include the name of the outlet and the airdate.

Upon receipt of the IKEA product loan, please send an email to christine.soner@memo.ikea.com or send a fax to Christine Soner’s attention at:(908) 352-3270 if any products have arrived damaged or are missing. When a delivery is received by Courier Service please be sure to check to see if anything you’ve ordered is missing. Please do not sign off on incomplete deliveries!
