IKEA PROCEDURES FOR PRODUCT IMAGE AND PRODUCT LOAN REQUESTS (PRINT OUTLETS):
Thank you for your interest in IKEA home furnishings and accessories. For your convenience, outlined below is an overview of the procedures for media requesting IKEA product images, as well as product loan requests. Due to the high volume of daily requests with tight deadlines, it’s not possible for us to accommodate all requests and IKEA does not guarantee fulfillment of all IKEA product image and product loan requests from print media outlets.

IKEA Product Image Requests
Print outlets requesting an IKEA product image should direct their request by email to Noreen Murphy at:

For IKEA to process your request, it is important to include all of the following information in your request for an IKEA product image:

- Indicate the deadline date by which you would need to receive the IKEA image.

- Specify the IKEA product name and description of IKEA image(s) that you're requesting.

- If possible, include the page number in the IKEA Catalog of the IKEA product image that you're requesting. If the product image is not in the IKEA Catalog, please indicate that you found the product on the IKEA web site.

- Provide your email address ¯ IKEA will email you an ftp server URL link so you can download a high-resolution (300 dpi) JPEG image to your PC or Macintosh computer desktop.

- Supply complete contact information (full name, work/cell phone numbers, email, mailing address and name of print outlet).

- IKEA requires the following IKEA brand credit for editorial use of its product images:

- IKEA (spelled in capital letters)

- IKEA toll-free phone order number: (877) 345-IKEA (4532)
(The toll-free IKEA phone order number is for your readers interested in the IKEA product featured in your publication.)

- The IKEA web site address: www.IKEA.com.

* Please note, if you feature an IKEA product image, IKEA does not guarantee that this specific product is available at all IKEA store locations due to varied product inventory status at stores.

Please confirm usage of the IKEA product image by sending an email to noreen.murphy@memo.ikea.com and include the name of the print outlet and the date of publication that the IKEA product image will be featured.

Please send copies of the publication featuring the IKEA product image once it is published to:

REQUESTING PRINT PRODUCT LOAN REQUESTS:

For IKEA to process your product loan request, it is important to include all of the following information:

- Please indicate if the request is for IKEA product loan or donation.

- Specify IKEA product name and description.

- The color of the IKEA product (many IKEA products are offered in multiple colors).

- The size of the IKEA product (many IKEA products are available in a variety of sizes).

- Please indicate the quantity of the IKEA product needed.

- The page number in the 2006 IKEA Catalog that the IKEA product image is located (please indicate if the product image is not in the 2006 IKEA Catalog).

- If you plan to alter the IKEA product loaned item in any way, please indicate this in your request.

- Shipping address where the loaned IKEA product should be sent.

- Contact at shipping address, including contact's phone number.

- Most importantly, indicate your DEADLINE date!

- Please provide complete contact information (full name, work/cell phone numbers, email, mailing address and name of print outlet).

- IKEA requires the following IKEA brand credit for editorial use of
its product images:

For your readers' benefit, please include details of any alterations to an IKEA product featured in your publications so readers are informed that the IKEA product has been modified.

* Please note, if you feature an IKEA product loan item in your publications, IKEA does not guarantee that this specific product is available at all IKEA store locations due to varied product inventory status at stores.

SHIPPING AND RETURNING LOANED IKEA PRODUCTS:
- IKEA is responsible for handling and incurring any fees associated with shipping IKEA product loan items to the intended recipient. Editorial recipients are required to arrange and pay for the return shipping of the loaned IKEA products back to IKEA ¯ all IKEA product loan items must be returned to IKEA within 30 days of receipt.

There are two options for print media outlets to return the loaned IKEA products back to IKEA:
- Returning loaned IKEA products via FedEx, UPS, Airborne, etc.:
Please indicate clearly the name of the media outlet the return is from (and not the corporation name) ¯ this is the only way that we can verify in our records that you have returned the IKEA product loaned item.

- Returning loaned IKEA products via Courier Service: The only way to return loaned IKEA products via Courier Service is by contacting Christine Soner in advance to schedule a specific date and time for delivery of the returned loaned IKEA products. Courier Service returns are only accepted Monday through Friday, between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (EST).

- Any Courier Service deliveries with IKEA product loan items that are being returned without a scheduled appointment arranged in advance with Christine Soner will be refused. To set up a date and time for a delivery appointment, please email
Christine Soner at christine.soner@memo.ikea.com.

* If an IKEA product loaned item has not been used, PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ON THE OUTSIDE PACKAGING.

IKEA product loan items may be purchased (by check only) for 15% off the retail price, plus 3% sales tax.

Only checks are accepted for payment if you'd like to purchase the IKEA product loan item. Checks should be made payable to: IKEA
