How to shop

We have prepared the IKEA store for you to shop on your own.

Together we keep IKEA prices low.

Besides copies of the latest catalogue for you to borrow, the store provides tape measures, pencils and shopping lists for you to write down price tag details, like where to pick up your item. And grab a big yellow bag for those smaller items you like. Trolleys are also available for your use.

You choose, compare and test all the things in the Showroom.
Look at the price tag. It tells you everything about the product. You'll find details on the price tag - colour, material, size, features and care.
A) You see where you pick up products in the Self-serve furniture area or in the Markethall.
B) ... or you contact staff and tell them which products you want to buy.
Look at the price tag. It tells you where you need to go.

You write down your choice of products and where you can pick them up in the store.
Use the shopping lists and pencils you find in the store.

You pick things up yourself. Most IKEA products are flat-packed so they’re easy for you to take away.
Check the label on the box to make sure the contents are right.
On your way to the check-out, you'll pass through the Self-Serve Area. This is where you pick up the flat-packed furnishing items you saw earlier in the showroom. Picking up your purchases is an important part of IKEA's approach to customer involvement to keep prices low. Of course, there is always someone available to give you a hand if you need it.

At IKEA, we try to save as much as we can, so that we help you save too. At AS-IS, you will find items which are not of the original condition/quality, such as display pieces or returned items, can be purchased at lower prices. Original prices and explanations of the conditions are available on each item.

You take your products home yourself... or arrange for home delivery at a low rate.

Selected items need to be picked up at the Merchandise Pick-up counter after you have paid for your purchases at the Check Outs. Just hand your receipt and Sales Order to the counter staff.

You assemble your products yourself and can enjoy them at once.
Follow the assembly instructions carefully. If you need some help, we provide assembly services too.

If you change your mind. Not 100% satisfied? It's OK to change your mind - we have a 100-day no-nonsense return policy.
