It’s a Blue Season with IKEA

Imagine a world without textiles. No plush towels after a shower. No cushion to shield during scary movies. No childhood blanket forts. There will be no sheets drying in the sun, and no pillows to end a long day. Blankets, curtains, cushions and rugs will not exist. Little did we realise, textiles play a vital role in meeting the basic needs in any home.

Building Your Smart Kitchen with IKEA

perfect kitchen.

IKEA Malaysia is to become the country’s first retailer to eliminate the use of single-use plastic bags in the latest environment initiative by the world’s largest home furnishing company.

This has been a journey for IKEA Malaysia which began in June 2009, when it introduced the “Kick the plastic bag habit” campaign with an aim of reducing plastic bags consumption. Since the campaign started, IKEA has reduced its plastic bags usage. Now in its second year of the campaign, there’s a positive trend of the IKEA customers stopped buying plastic bags.

IKEA distributes so many Allen Keys every day, have you ever wondered where they go to to?

The Allen Key is a small iconic IKEA product made from highly-recyclable material - do not let it go unnoticed at home or let it disappear into your trash bin.

Look around your home for any of the Allen Keys and bring them back to the IKEA store for recycling which started on World Environment Day, 5 June 2011.
