IKEA Kitchen Installation Service Terms & Conditions

Thank you for shopping at IKEA and choosing our installation service. IKEA Kitchen Installation Service provides an installation service for kitchen cabinet or custom-made worktop that is secured from IKEA kitchen measurement and planning service precedently. The service will take around 8 hours.

A carefully selected Independent Service Provider will perform your Kitchen Installation Service. In order to ensure that your Kitchen Installation Service session is successful, your participation is needed.

Please ensure that:

  • Either you or your representative that is 18 years of age or older must be present to receive the merchandise at the agreed upon day and, if given, time window.
  • If you want to buy IKEA kitchen installation service, you need to firstly purchase IKEA kitchen measurement service and IKEA kitchen planning service as well, so that the installation service quality can be fully secured.
  • Remove any obstacles that might hinder the technicians from performing their job.
  • Please be sure there is a clear path from the door to the room of choice for the technicians to safely deliver and assemble items.
  • Please be sure that there is adequate access and space to complete the delivery and/or installation of your products. Please consider hallways, staircases, and elevators. Proper assembly requires sufficient space for the technicians to work. Please be sure to have the room ready for new products to be assembled. The technicians will not remove or move existing furniture items. The technicians will not move delivered items from any other place to installation spot. The items should be delivered installation spot already.
  • Kitchen installation (including the worktop installation) may cause noise and dust exposure during the operation. You are responsible to make sure the service providers conduct the ordinary process in the residence area in your reserved time period and protect the dust pollution in the room. For example, please arrange public notice at your apartment building supported by janitor.
  • Please make sure all children and animals are out of harm’s way.
  • Installation work will be conducted in accordance to product instructions only
  • Our installation company is only contracted to install IKEA furniture and its components.
  • If you purchased quartz custom-made worktop, please make sure the kitchen status as it is including wall after METOD cabinet installation is finished, until custom-made worktop will be installed finally.
At the completion of the Kitchen Installation Service appointment:
Please sign the Kitchen Installation Service Report in the presence of the Kitchen Installation Service Provider’s employee to indicate your Kitchen Installation Service was completed to your satisfaction.
* With Quartz custom-made worktop installation service, 50% of the service fee will be charged.
How do I cancel my Kitchen Measurement Service?
If you would like to cancel your service, you must contact IKEA Call Center (1670-4532) as soon as possible. In order to avoid any additional fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12 pm before the expected measurement service date. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the service fee will be charged.
* For Quartz custom-made worktop measuring service, 50% of the service fee will be charged.
If you are not at home at the promised date & time?
The Service Provider will leave a note confirming that they attempted to complete the appointment. They will not return, they will make no attempt to return to complete the service. You must return to the store to schedule & pay for another Kitchen Measurement Service.

IKEA Bathroom Installation Service Terms & Conditions

Thank you for shopping at IKEA and choosing our installation service. In order to ensure your service experience is successful, your participation is necessary.

Please ensure that:

  • Either you or your representative that is 18 years of age or older must be present to receive the merchandise at the agreed upon day and, if given, time window.
  • Remove any obstacles that might hinder the technicians from performing their job.

  • If needed, drilling a hole would be implemented.
  • Please make sure all children and animals are out of harm’s way.
  • If you would like to change your service date or cancel your service, you must contact IKEA as soon as possible. In order to avoid any fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12 pm the day before the expected delivery. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the service fee will be charged.
  • Install all IKEA merchandise to your satisfaction and in accordance to product instructions only
  • Our installation company is only contracted to install IKEA furniture and its components.

We request that you take the necessary time needed to inspect your order for discrepancies and/or visible damages before you sign for your delivery. In the event there are missing or damaged packages, please indicate on the Delivery note. Please contact your IKEA location to determine how your delivery will be completed. The store contact details are on your Delivery note. Be assured that IKEA will make every effort to correct any problems with product or service.

IKEA CMW Installation Service provides an installation service for custom-made worktop that is secured from IKEA kitchen measurement, planning and CMW measuring service precedently. The service will take around 8 hours.

How do I make a change to my Service date?
If you would like to change your service date, you must contact IKEA Call Center (1670-4532) as soon as possible. Your preferable date would not be always possible due to other customer’s reservation. In order to avoid any additional fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12 pm before the agreed kitchen installation service date. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the acrylic CMW installation service fee and 50% of the Quartz CMW installation fee will be charged for changing your measurement service date.
How do I make a change to my CMW colour?
If you would like to change your service date, you must contact IKEA Call Center (1670-4532) by 9 pm on the day that measuring service has completed. Fabrication for CMW starts the next day of measuring service.
How do I cancel my CMW Installation Service?
If you would like to cancel your service, you must contact IKEA Call Center (1670-4532) as soon as possible. In order to avoid any additional fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12 pm before the agreed installation service date. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the acrylic CMW installation service fee and 50% of the Quartz CMW installation fee will be charged for each.
