Angela joined IKEA in China when that retail organisation was in its early stages. There were only three people in the office and the senior manager for the China market was not on board yet. Today she works with IKEA in Germany.
"I went to the UK for training. That was my first trip abroad. I was the store manager in the Shanghai IKEA store for more than three years. I was only 30 years old and the first store manager who had been recruited locally - it was a big challenge!"
