KVISSLE desk organisers

The fact is that many of us have the same things on our desks. That was the conclusion we came to after doing a lot of research in newspapers, speaking with friends and family and casting long glances across the desks of our colleagues. Regardless of who we are, or what kind of work we do, we still have almost exactly the same things on our desks. Erasers, pens, pencils, paper – even the drinking glass on our desk is something we have in common. And all the cables and chargers for telephones, lamps and computers too, of course.

For some reason the extension socket for chargers and cables is always under the desk, which is very impractical because you’re forced to crawl on the ground every time you want to plug a charger into a socket. Why not put all these on the desk instead, where you can reach them easily – in a good-looking charger station with holes for both cables and ventilation? That’s why we made a charger station for just that purpose that we call KVISSLE.

KVISSLE has several siblings in the form of small boxes, for small things – paper clips, erasers, pens, sticky notes. They’re made in the same matte white lacquer as the charger station, and have small cork lids. The smart thing with the small cork lids is that you can also use them as coasters for your water glass! Cork is both soft and steady of course – a good surface for a glass to stand on. There is also a desk organiser and letter tray with a cork liner in the bottom to keep things in place, book-ends, a glass whiteboard/magnetic board, a magazine rack and a magazine file. KVISSLE is good storage for all the things we want on our desks – but not spread out all over the place.

It may seem like a lot to have on a desk, but actually it’s not more than what you have there already. Only now it looks much better, stored in matte white metal boxes with cork lids. Not a bad idea, if you think about it.
