Operational support manager
Canadian roots replanted in France
As operational support manager in the Metz Distribution Centre in France, Guy oversees distribution of products to various IKEA stores. Before moving to France, he worked at the Brossard Distribution Centre in Québec, Canada, for 15 years.
"This (Metz) job is a dream come true. My wife and I had been looking for an opportunity to live in Europe for few years. It helped that IKEA offered us a good relocation package, and that the manager here is also Canadian."

Relocation comes with challenges, Guy says. "The biggest challenge is learning the laws and customs of the people here. Without that I could not be good manager."
