If you're missing partsIf you happen to notice that there's a part missing when assembling your IKEA furniture, make a note of the part number from the assembly instructions and telephone your closest store's customer services number from the list below.
Shop Online! If you have purchased with Shop Online! and have missing parts please Contact us
Depending on it's size, and whether it's something that's kept in stock, it may well be possible to simply mail the part directly to you. This is when it's an item such as fittings or screws for example. Otherwise, you'll need to bring your receipt to the Customer Returns department at the store.
There they will either be able to give you the part immediately, or arrange for a replacement. To help us to help you, please bring along the assembly instructions as well.
Oh, and check the packaging! Sometimes the parts are simply caught in the wrapping material and not missing at all!

 | IKEA info-lineSpeak in person to one of our customer service advisors during store opening hours.
Check the IKEA store for details on opening hours, and try to avoid peak hours between 10am and 1pm. That way, we can answer your call much faster. It's worth noting that calls are put through to one of our centralised call centres where our staff are trained to answer most queries. Should your case require any follow-up, it will be assigned to the relevant store's backline department, who will call you back to resolve your query.
The 24-hour, automated system can be accessed anytime for up-to-date information about:
-ordering -store opening hours -store directions -events -methods of payment -catalogue listed stock availability
Please note that we do not operate a mail order service. To help us continue to improve our standards in customer service, some telephone conversations may be recorded for training purposes.

 | BistroDon’t forget about our last resort for hungry shoppers. You can have a quick bite and a drink before the hard work of stowing all your new things, and the family, in the car. Pick up a hot dog, soft ice cream for a very reasonable price. The bistro is located after the check-out near the exit.

Children’s servicesFor the most important people in the world.
We try to make visiting IKEA great fun – for children and grown-ups alike. While you shop with us we've got strollers and baby care rooms in every store.
The restaurant provides some great deals on children’s meals, as well as baby food, and ,food-warming facilities.
There's also a really fun children's section in the showroom, where they can try out all the toys and games.
Children just love our playroom, located near the entrance of the store. Our ballroom facilities are managed in compliance with OFSTED and CSIW regulations and supervised by fully qualified staff. This means that age, height, and number of children admitted is strictly controlled as the safety and protection of your children is of paramount importance.
For Health and Safety reasons, the following age and height restrictions apply. Children must be: - between the ages of 3 and 7 years old - between 91 and 130 cm (3' and 4'3") tall
The parent or guardian admitting the child must be the one to collect him or her as well. At busy times, sessions may be limited.
