2. Delivery and charges
We will deliver your order either by parcel courier, or by 2 man truck, according to the size, weight, nature of your goods. Our Checkout system automatically calculates your delivery charge as follows, and displays this information for you

3. Parcel courier delivery
This is for what we classify as ‘small’ deliveries: in total no more than 75kg in weight. They also have to be suitable to be transported safely by courier. The charges are: under 25kg £7.50* and between 25-75kg £15** per delivery

* Please note there are a number of items which CANNOT be sent via parcel courier, due to individual box weight, volume or fragility. In these exceptions the order is classed as 'large' and the truck rate applies. If a product has to be delivered by truck this is made clear in the checkout.

** Any individual item that weighs more than 25kg will be sent via truck

4. Truck delivery
We generally send a 2 man team to deliver by truck all orders that we classify as ‘large’ deliveries, (anything over the 75kg rule), and anything unsuitable for parcel courier delivery.

N.B. The delivery charge is included in the price for made to order items such as certain sofas or worktops. If your order includes made to order items, their value is excluded from this calculation

Before a 2 man truck delivery, you need to check the measurements of the goods you are buying, and make sure there will be sufficient access for us to deliver them as required. Please contact us with any access issues.

5. ARE YOU SURE WE CAN FIT DOWN YOUR STREET?
To ensure the smooth delivery of your order, we must draw your attention to the following points that we need to know about your address. Please take time to read this short guide and contact us if you feel our trucks may have some problems delivering to your door. Don't worry; we will always find a way, but we do need to know in advance!

6. Delivery dates
Within 24 hrs an estimated delivery date will be sent in your Order Acknowledgement email

Within 72 hrs a confirmed delivery date will then be sent in your Delivery Advice email, which also specifies courier or 2 man truck delivery

Check the Delivery Advice email carefully. You can check the progress of your delivery
www.ikeaordertracking.co.uk If you need it, a later alternative delivery slot must be requested as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours before the confirmed delivery date. You can do this in several ways. Click on Contact us

If your delivery is being made by 2 man truck, our delivery team will attempt to contact you by telephone or SMS, 24-48hrs before delivery, to specify morning or afternoon. If you want to change your delivery slot at this stage, there may be a charge, which you can either accept to pay, or opt to cancel your order. This is with the exception of made to order goods, which cannot be cancelled after we have sent your Delivery Advice email

7. How to track your delivery

8. On delivery day
Please be there to verify the content and condition of your order, and to sign for your goods. Alternatively, you can appoint another adult whose instructions you are happy for us to follow. All courier deliveries are to the address point of entry only. For 2 man truck deliveries, please tell us in advance any access issues, e.g. narrow doors, difficult stairs, upper floor delivery, and we will do our best to deliver your goods where you would prefer. 9. Undeliverable goods
If we can’t deliver because you’re out, or because access is too difficult, we may charge for storage and redelivery. You can either accept to pay, or opt to cancel your order, at which point we would refund your purchases, but not your original delivery fee. Cancellations, returns and refunds

1. Cancelling made to order goods
These cannot be cancelled or returned once we have accepted your order when you receive your Delivery Advice email. Once delivered, you can only return them if they are not of satisfactory quality or reasonably fit for their intended purpose

2. Cancelling off-the-shelf goods
For all cancellations and returns, you must contact us with full details, including your order number contained in your Order Acknowledgement email. Click on

You can cancel an order at any time before delivery, and receive a full refund for the goods ordered. Your delivery charge will only be refunded if you cancel at least 48 hours before your allocated delivery time

3. Returning your goods to us
If you have already taken delivery, you can arrange to return goods within 14 days for a refund on the goods

After this period, you can still return goods to a store up to 90 days from delivery to a store, certain conditions apply. We will make a full refund for goods still in their unopened packaging. For packages which have been opened, and for goods which you have assembled, we reserve the right to refund the price less 30%. Your delivery charge will not be refunded

You can opt to return your goods to any IKEA store. Take them along with your Order Acknowledgement email, payment confirmation (if applicable) and the payment card you used

Alternatively, you can ask us to collect from you. To do this, click on
Contact us We may charge you a collection fee. For goods still packaged and in perfect condition, this fee would be the same again as our original delivery charge. For goods you have opened or assembled, the fee could be higher

4. Refunding your money
