For your convenience outlined below is an overview of the procedures for IKEA product loan requests for both Print media and Television.

All IKEA product loans require authorisation from the IKEA Press Office

If you feature an IKEA product in your publication that has been loaned, please include a brand credit to IKEA (our company spelling is always capitalised)

Please include the details of any changes to an IKEA product loan item featured so readers are aware that the product has been modified.

Both print media and television product loan requests should be completed in the form below, which will automatically be sent to the press office.

It is important to include the following information for television media within the form:

• Programme description & title
• Broadcast channel
• If you plan to alter the IKEA product in any way
• Whether you need to keep the product loan
• Your contact information
• How you intend to credit IKEA
• Most Importantly, Please indicate your COLLECTION and RETURN DATE.

collection and delivery information

IKEA press office does NOT provide a delivery service for product loans, the collection and return of the product loan must be arranged by the journalist.

The Wembley store in London, is the only store that can facilitate product loans.

Product Loans can only be collected between Monday – Friday 10am-12pm and returned Monday - Friday 2pm - 4:30pm.

Direct delivery IKEA products are not available for a Product loan.

A reference number will be provided for each product loan. This number must be quoted when collecting AND returning the items and kept until the items have been returned so that the product loan can collected and returned in a secure way.

All products within the loan must be collected and returned together. You cannot return separate products of the loan at a later date.

Large furniture pieces are flat packed and will need to be assembled. IKEA cannot assemble the furniture for you, but we will receive returned furniture that has been assembled.

If an IKEA product loaned item has not been used, Please do not write on the outside packaging, so the item can be returned to stock.
IKEA will not accept a product if it has been painted or customised in any way, without permission prior to collection from the Press Office.

All product loans must be returned within the return date stated on your product loan request. (The return date must not exceed 28 days).

If any items are not returned, an invoice will be sent for the outstanding amount. Cheques are made payable to IKEA LTD.

If you would like to purchase an item from your Product Loan please put it in writing and email to PRUK@memo.IKEA.com for the attention of Lewis Marshall. Please note that IKEA does not offer any discount for Product Loan items.
