Delivery
Delivery is available in most areas across Canada. Your order can be delivered by Parcel or Truck depending on its weight. A third party vendor has been contracted to perform your delivery service. To ensure that your delivery is successful, your participation is needed.
IKEA relies on the information you provide when placing your order. Providing us with accurate, current and complete information will ensure that your delivery is successful and that no additional fees or delays will apply. If you wish to make an address change after your order has been paid for, please contact IKEA Home Shopping. Our customer service specialists will be happy to assist you at 1-866-866-IKEA (4532).

Estimated Delivery Date
Please note that this is not a guaranteed delivery date for your order. The estimated delivery date reflects when the delivery provider receives your order.

Parcel Delivery
Three delivery attempts will be made for Parcel deliveries. At each attempt, a notice of delivery will be left. After the 3rd attempt, the package is returned to the warehouse nearest to you, where it will be held for 5 days for you to pick up. If not picked up, your parcel order will be returned to IKEA. We will issue a credit for your merchandise only. The delivery fee is non-refundable.

Truck Delivery
You will be contacted at the local telephone number that you provided in your order details. Please note that you must be available to receive your order from 9am to 9pm on the delivery date agreed upon. For your convenience, a time window will be offered by the delivery company the morning of your delivery date, who will make every effort to deliver within the time window provided.
If you wish to make a change to the scheduled delivery date, please contact IKEA Home Shopping at least one business day prior, by 3:00pm. 1-866-866-IKEA (4532).

Upon Delivery
Prior to delivery, please ensure that there is adequate room to complete the delivery by freeing hallways and staircases and reserving elevators.
An adult of legal age must be present to receive the merchandise. If no one is available to receive the delivery, your order will be returned to the warehouse. Please contact IKEA Customer Service to re-schedule a delivery. A new delivery fee will apply.
Please be sure to sign the proof of delivery to indicate that your delivery has been received. Examine your order to ensure that there are no visible signs of damage, missing or incorrect pieces. In the event that there are, please retain the item(s), indicate the problem on the proof of delivery and contact Home Shopping at 1-866-866-IKEA (4532) within 48 hours of your delivery. For any other problem with your order, please refer to our return policy, below.

Storage fees
If you are not available to accept delivery within 14 days of the initial contact from the delivery company, then storage fees will apply.

Delivering to a Freight Forwarder
In order to ensure that your delivery is processed as quickly as possible; please contact Home Shopping at 1-866-866-IKEA (4532). Please inform us that your order will be delivered to a freight forwarder. Additional delivery information is required to ensure accurate processing of your order. Neither IKEA nor the delivery company will be held responsible should you decide to hire a third party contractor or freight forwarder to accept, receive and sign the handover of items without the notations of visible defects of packaging, damaged items, or missing merchandise.

Volume Orders
Large orders may consist of:
• 5 cubic meters or • 20 or more of a single article or • a value of $15,000 or more

If, after proper assembly and care there is a quality defect with an item, please call our customer service specialist. Be sure to have your original receipt.

Returns Policy
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 45 days of delivery date to arrange exchange or refund of your unused item(s). Prior to the return or exchange, please make sure to disassemble and repackage the item and have the original receipt in hand. Please keep the receipt as a proof of purchase for all product warranties. Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. Merchandise may be returned by parcel or by truck. In the event that a returned order has any accessories or missing pieces, the return may be refused, or we may deduct the value of any of the missing items. Please call customer service specialist for details at 1-866-866-IKEA (4532).
For your convenience, merchandise may also be returned to your local IKEA Store. If you change your mind after making a purchase, just bring the product back to your IKEA store unused within 45 days. All we ask is that you bring your original receipt and the original packaging.
IKEA will not assume transport charges for any items returned, unless specifically agreed upon beforehand for products purchased through Home Shopping.
We do not accept returns on used bedding (linen, quilts, pillows and mattress pads), cut fabrics, “AS IS” products, goods ordered to your specifications (e.g. custom-made countertops), and gift cards. Please note that any product that has been modified or altered from its original state cannot be returned or exchanged.

Canceling Orders
If you wish to cancel an order that has already left our warehouse, please note that shipping fees still apply. IKEA will not assume transport charges for any items returned, unless specifically agreed upon beforehand for products purchased through Home Shopping. Please contact Customer Service at 1-866-866-IKEA (4532) to cancel your Home Shopping order.
