1. How do I place an order online?
Checkout involves four steps.
1. Provide your shipping and billing addresses
2. Review your order
3. Enter payment information
4. The receipt page that you should print.

Once you have completed the order online, an IKEA representative will call you to schedule your delivery date and time.

2. Is my information secure?
Your information is secured with the latest security technology that encrypts all personal information you submit through our site, including credit card numbers, and addresses. We encrypt your information using SSL technology which allows it to be transmitted securely over the internet without anyone else having access to it.

3. Can I track my order?
We are currently in the process of upgrading our website to include full E-commerce which will include order tracking. In the meantime, please contact one of our Home Furnishing Consultants at 1 866 866-IKEA (4532), press option #1, to track your order.

5. How is the shipping cost determined?
Shipping and handling fees are based on shipment weight and volume, delivery destination, and the retail value of your order.

6. What if I want to make a change after I've placed my order?
If you wish to change an order that you have placed, please contact one of our Home Furnishing Consultants at 1 866 866-IKEA (4532), press option #1, within 24 hours of ordering.

7. What if I want to make a change to an item in my order during the checkout process?
During the checkout process you may wish to delete or change the quantity of items. This can be done during Step 2. If you would like to change the colour or size of a already in your cart, simply add a new item to your cart and delete the old one.

8. How do I cancel an order that I've placed online?
If you wish to cancel an order that you have placed, please contact Customer Service at 1 866 866-IKEA (4532), press option #3. However, if the order has already been shipped, shipping and handling charges will not be reimbursed.

9. What information is collected about me when I purchase online?
When you order or purchase an IKEA product, you may be required to give us contact and payment information (such as credit card information) so we can process your order. When you pay for an IKEA product using a credit card, we use your credit card information only to fulfill your order.

10. How do I return a product?
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, please contact our Resolution Specialists in Customer Service 1 866-IKEA (4532), press option #3, within 45 days of purchase to arrange an exchange or refund of your unused item. Please make sure to keep your packing slip and original packaging.

IKEA will not assume the transportation charges for any items returned by courier, Canada Post or otherwise unless specifically agreed upon beforehand for products purchased through IKEA.

For your convenience, merchandise may also be returned to your local IKEA Store. If you change your mind after making a purchase, just bring the product back to your IKEA store unused within 45 days. All we ask is that you bring your original receipt and the original packaging.

11. How do I make a change to my billing address?
Simply click "edit" under the billing address displayed within steps 2 or 3; you will then be able to change your billing address. You may also use your billing address as your shipping address.

12. When will my order be delivered?
Once you reach Step 2, “Review your order”, you will be given an estimated delivery date. Approximately 48 hours before your expected delivery date, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery time if your order is shipped by carrier.
If your order is shipped by Canada Post or Purolator, you will not be contacted prior to delivery.

13. What is “My profile”?
"My profile" contains your shipping and billing information, but not your credit card information. It makes the online purchasing process faster. Your profile also gives you the option to sign up to receive notifications about upcoming IKEA Home Shopping promotions and events.

Returning customers can click on "My profile" to log in. This link is located at the top of every page on the website.

15. Can I send orders to more than one address?
Each order is shipped to a single address.
Separate orders must be placed to have items delivered to multiple addresses.
