45 Day Return Policy

Changed your mind or are not satisfied with your purchase? Simply return the unused item within 45 days for an exchange or refund. A receipt and the original packaging are required for all returns and exchanges. Refunds will be issued to the same method of payment as the original payment (credit card purchases will be credited to the original credit card account).

We do not accept returns on:

  • Used/Washed bedding (All bed linens, duvets, pillows and pillow-tops)
  • Any mattress or stuffed/ upholstered product without a law label
  • Cut fabrics
  • Custom countertops
  • Any product that has been modified/altered/washed
  • AS-IS products
  • IKEA gift cards
At any time, IKEA reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange. Government photo ID may be required. Please see your nearest IKEA store for complete details. Services performed such as Delivery, Assembly and Installation are not refundable.

At a Pick-up and order point location: We will offer a returns and exchange service. An exchange may take place if the product you wish to exchange is available for online purchase. We will return and reorder your item. If your item is only available in-store, you may exchange it at your local IKEA store.

Customers should note exchanges take longer at the Pick-up and order point since we don't store products at our locations. Exchanges are also valid on products you can buy online.

For online orders: If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 45 days of delivery date to arrange exchange or refund of your unused item(s). The item’s receipt and original packaging are required for all exchanges or refunds. IKEA will not assume transport charges for any items returned, unless specifically agreed upon beforehand for products purchased online or by phone. If you wish to cancel an order that has already been shipped to you, please note that shipping fees still apply.

Sleep on it... for 90 days

It is important to us that you love your new mattress. So, if after a while you discover that it is too firm, too soft, or too something else-just bring it back with your original receipt within 90 days and we will exchange it for one that suits you better. And there's no rush. You have 90 days to sleep on it! Please note that we are unable to exchange your mattress if the merchandise is found to be dirty, stained, damaged, or abused. Please see in-store for details.
