Become your own interior designer with the help of the new IKEA Home Planner - Kitchen. Select and place your choice of furniture and fit to the exact measurements of your room. Rearrange and try different styles until you’re satisfied with the result. View it in 3-D and print with all the measurements, just like an architect. See how much it will cost and get a list of the products.
Once you’re happy with your plan, save it directly on the IKEA server and access it at your local IKEA store. There you can get final planning advice and assistance from our Kitchen Specialists before purchasing the products you need to make your virtual room a reality.

System requirements
The new IKEA Home Planner tool is a web based application using a browser plug-in. The system requirements are:
1 gigahertz (GHz) equivalent or faster
32MB Graphic card
1024 x 768 Display resolution
Broadband Internet connection
Operating systems:
- Windows XP SP2 or higher
- MacOS X 10.5 Leopard or higher (for Intel processors only)
Windows Browsers:
- Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
- Firefox 3.5.7 or higher
Mac Browsers:
- Firefox 3.5.7 or higher
- Safari 4.0.3 or higher
Three plug-ins are available: one for Windows Internet Explorer, one for Mozilla FireFox and one for Intel Mac's running Leopard (Safari and FireFox). When accessing the URL for the IKEA Home Planner, a page for downloading the appropriate plug-in will be shown if not already installed. |
