IKEA kindly asks customers who have an IKEA 365+ SÄNDA track 70 and/or 114 from supplier 21338, date stamp 1134 – 1208, to stop using the track immediately and contact Customer Services.
The recall is being conducted due to a defective earth connection in the track.
Due to a defective earth connection in the track there is a risk of electric shock upon contact with the track or connected lamps.
IKEA has received no reports of any incidents involving SÄNDA track.
Customers with an IKEA 365+ SÄNDA track 70 and/or 114 are asked to check the supplier number and production date. If the supplier number is #21338, and has a production date stamp between 1134 – 1208 (YYMM) customers are asked to stop using the track immediately and to contact IKEA Customer Service for further information on how to receive a replacement unit or a full refund.
The affected tracks were sold between September 2011 and March 2012. Only IKEA 365+ SÄNDA tracks 70 and 114 from supplier 21338, date stamp 1134 – 1208 are affected by this recall.
