The IKEA Blind Recall mentioned in the media today impacts the North American market only (USA and Canada).
IKEA Australia Pty Ltd conducted a safety recall on some products in the later half of last year (ALVINE, IRIS, MELINA roman blinds and ISDANS, TUPPLUR and ENJE roller blinds) issuing additional safety instructions for installation and use. The ACCC confirmed the closure of this recall in April this year.
Today all blinds sold by IKEA Pty Ltd comply with all relevant national safety standards.
