Sweden’s most popular pastry, the cinnamon bun dates back to the 1920´s. Today cinnamon bun baking is a popular activity in Swedish households.

October 4th 1999 the Cinnamon Bun Day was introduced to celebrate home baking traditions and especially the beloved bun. It is now annually celebrated throughout Sweden (and IKEA).

Don't forget you can pick up a cinnamon bun with a cup of coffee in the customer restaurant for only Dhs 7.

We only sell UTZ certified coffee

As of May 31, 2008, IKEA is now serving and selling six new IKEA FOOD coffee products that are UTC certified. UTZ is the largest certification program for coffee production and it consists on the special care for the product, the people and the environment. The coffee is of the best quality and it is produced under strict food safety regulations. The people growing the coffee are provided with water, housing, healthcare and training. The environmental impact is reduced with good soil and water management preventing soil erosion and deforestation.
