Q: How is my IKEA FAMILY account different from other IKEA accounts I've created online?
A: At this time, accounts created for IKEA online shopping do not share information with IKEA FAMILY accounts, so if you've created an IKEA account at http://www.IKEA.ae, you'll see that your information is not shared with the IKEA FAMILY form; changes made on one form will not be reflected in the other. Please note that the IKEA FAMILY form has some unique questions, so you should make any profile updates through IKEA FAMILY.

Q: Will I earn points or rebates through my IKEA FAMILY membership?
A: No. IKEA FAMILY is different from other loyalty programs. Instead of collecting points for an extended period of time or rebates, you'll enjoy great offers and instant discount on selected products, services and you will also enjoy free coffee or tea every time you shop on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday).

Q: Where can I use my IKEA FAMILY Card?
A: You can currently use your card at the IKEA store that has IKEA family. Visit http://www.IKEA.ae/FAMILY for more information. Be sure to scan your card at checkout every time you visit. That way, you'll be sure to get member pricing on discounted items. You can even use your card at other IKEA stores in UAE that have IKEA FAMILY, though the benefits may differ from those of your local store.

Q: Should I use my IKEA FAMILY Card even when I'm not buying discounted products or IKEA FAMILY Goods?
A: Yes, you should ALWAYS use your IKEA FAMILY card, no matter what IKEA products you're buying. As you'll help IKEA learn how to provide you with the best possible offers in the future.

Q: Who can apply for IKEA FAMILY?
A: Anyone over the age of 18 can join IKEA FAMILY. And it's FREE! You can signup using any of the IKEA FAMILY kiosks available in the store.

Q: How do I cancel my membership
A: To cancel your membership, send us an email us at: ikeafamily@mail.info.ikea.ae with your name, username and IKEA FAMILY Card number. Your request will be processed within five business days.

Q: Can I use my IKEA FAMILY Card for online purchases?
A: No. Using your IKEA FAMILY Card for purchases made through online IKEA Home Shopping is NOT available at this time.

Q: I've lost/broken my card. How do I get a replacement?
A: Next time you visit the store, simply stop by one of the IKEA FAMILY kiosks and log in, then select the option to get a replacement card.

Q: My card was lost or stolen. What should I do?
A: Don't worry—there's absolutely no risk of someone accessing your personal details if they have your IKEA FAMILY Card; none of your personal information is associated with it. Simply get a replacement card from the IKEA FAMILY kiosk next time you visit.

Q: Can my spouse or family members have a card on my account?
A: No, the IKEA FAMILY Card is personal to you. Your spouse or family members can enjoy the benefits of membership with his or her own account.

Q: Does my IKEA FAMILY Card give me credit?
A: No, it doesn't.

Q: Are my details passed on to third parties?
A: No. Your information is only used by IKEA. Please reference the Privacy Policy for more details. www.IKEA.ae/privacypolicy

Q: How do I change my personal details (i.e. if I move to a new home or change my email address)?
A: You can log in to your profile page on the kiosks - and change your personal details.

Q: Where do I find the current IKEA FAMILY offers?
A: You can always see the latest IKEA FAMILY offers by visiting the store or the website. Additionally, we'll send out monthly emails with featured offers and links to see the rest online. You can always use the in-store kiosks to browse the complete list of discounts or refer to signage throughout the store.

Q: Can I return IKEA FAMILY Shop Products?
A: Yes. Within the set period of the purchase date, as long as you have your receipt, and the product adheres to all regular IKEA return policies, you'll be refunded the discounted IKEA FAMILY price of the product. Please reference the Return Policy for more details. www.IKEA.ae/ReturnPolicy

Q: Why not having the IKEA FAMILY Kiosk at the mall and in different shopping centers?
A: We launched this program to provide the best service for our customers during their visit to the IKEA store, and for them to enjoy the instant benefits and offers available for IKEA FAMILY members with the IKEA store.

Q: Are all items (including food) on discount for IKEA Family Cardholder?
A: A lot of selected products are part of the IKEA FAMILY offers:
• Member prices on select IKEA products
• Member prices on select food offers
• Members have 60 days return policy
• Sunday to Thursday, free coffee or tea in IKEA Restaurant

Q: Where are the Kiosks located to register for IKEA FAMILY card?
A: We have several kiosks within the store:
• At store entrance
• At the IKEA FAMILY section on the top floor
• At the area before reach the cashiers’ section

Q: What is the IKEA Family Card?
A: IKEA FAMILY is a free of charge membership:
By joining IKEA FAMILY you'll get the membership card then you can enjoy great offers and instant discount on selected products, services and you will also enjoy free coffee or tea every time you shop on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday – excluding weekends).

Q: Can we register for IKEA FAMILY online?
A: No. Not as of yet possibly in the near future.

Q: Can we use IKEA FAMILY card across the world?
A: Yes, you should be able to, subject that:
• IKEA in the country you are visiting have the IKEA FAMILY program.
• IKEA in the visited country is accepting non-local cards.

Q: Until when is the validity of IKEA FAMILY card?
A: Membership never expires; it stays valid as long as the program is available in our stores.

Q: Do you give discount to IKEA FAMILY cardholders for delivery?
A: No. Currently, it is not part of our offerings.

Q: How much discount are you giving to IKEA Family Members?
A: Average of 20% on the IKEA FAMILY range in addition to the selected articles across the store.

Q: What are the benefits we get by having the IKEA FAMILY card?
