You can start designing your new kitchen solution right away. Our free online 3-D planner lets you explore all your options and plan a kitchen layout from home, before you even visit your local store.

Important Note about Kitchen Islands

Kitchen Islands are NOT included in the Item List and Total Price, due to technical issues with the Kitchen Planner.

If you plan a kitchen with no island benches, this will not affect you.
If you plan a kitchen which includes one or more islands, please be aware that the item list and the total price will NOT include the cabinets and other components for the island(s).

IKEA are working to resolve this issue, and apologise for any inconvenience.

Plan your dream kitchen

If this is your first time, we recommend spending 5-10 minutes to read the user guide. This will give you useful tips and ideas of how to navigate the planner and plan your dream kitchen. To view the user guide, click the link below.

When using the planner, we also recommend that you create a profile. This will allow you to save your plans directly onto our server, so you can continue to work on them at home or at your local IKEA store.

System Requirements

The IKEA Kitchen Planner is a web based application using a browser plug-in.

When accessing the URL for the IKEA Kitchen Planner, a page for downloading the appropriate plug-in will be shown* if it is not already installed.

*To allow the plug-in installation, please temporarily turn off any pop-up blockers and ensure your browser settings allow pop-ups.

Minimum system requirements:
1 gigahertz (GHz) equivalent or faster 32MB graphic card 1024 x 768 display resolution Broadband internet connection

Installation Tips

There are some known compatibility issues with Windows 7 and Internet Explorer, please refer to the following guides for assistance:

Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 8 (pdf)
Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 9 (pdf)

Make sure you are not running Internet Explorer in compatibility mode. Also uninstall all previous installations of the player (plug-in) in your browser before installing the new player.

Some common issues that can affect the planner installation on your PC or Mac are:
