A: It’s the same in terms of offering members access to discounted prices, exclusive offers and invitations. However there is no membership swipe card for IKEA FAMILY in Perth and Adelaide. Instead, we will use emailed vouchers with a unique barcode for discount and food offers.

Q: Why don’t I get an IKEA FAMILY card like other countries?
A: If we keep our systems simple and our costs low, we are able to pass the savings on to our customers. Not having a plastic swipe card helps us to do this.

Q: What happens if I don’t want to be an IKEA FAMILY member any more?
A: Simply click the UNSUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of your last email. You’ll be removed immediately.

Q: How often will I get IKEA FAMILY offers?
A: You will receive an email on the first day of every month, which will include the offers for that month. At the end of the month, those offers will expire.

Q: How do I use my IKEA FAMILY voucher?
A: Simply print your voucher out and show it to the cashier when paying for your purchases. They’ll scan the barcode, so you’ll receive the special IKEA FAMILY price. Don’t worry if you don’t have a printer – you can show the barcode on your smart phone or tablet, and the cashier will manually enter the number.

Q: How many times can I use my IKEA FAMILY voucher each month?
A: Once. Each IKEA FAMILY voucher can be redeemed once in-store during the month.

Q: Can I buy more than one of each of the products on offer?
A: Yes, you can buy more than one product at a time, but remember the voucher can only be used once per month.

Q: Can I sign up to IKEA FAMILY in the store and receive the discounts on the same day?
A: Yes. If you have a smart phone or tablet you are able to sign up and receive IKEA FAMILY benefits on that day. Your first IKEA FAMILY voucher will be emailed to you around one hour after you have confirmed your membership.

Q: Can I use my IKEA FAMILY voucher with other in-store offers?
A: The IKEA FAMILY voucher can only be used for the monthly IKEA FAMILY offers. Other offers and promotions will run at the same time in the store but they are separate from the IKEA FAMILY program.
