PICKING AND DELIVERY SERVICE - ADELAIDE


There are times when you may not be able to collect the items you need yourself, so our convenient picking and delivery service allows you to simply place your order with one of our showroom co-workers, pay at the checkouts, and then we will ensure your order is picked and delivered directly to your front door.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Pricing
  • The picking and delivery service fee is calculated at 5% of the product price, to a maximum of $50, plus a $65 fee for delivery.
  • The picking service must be taken with the delivery service.
DELIVERY CONDITIONS:
  1. Only items purchased at IKEA can be delivered.
  2. All deliveries are to your front door only.
  3. Deliveries will be made within the Adelaide metro zone 0km - 60km from the store.
  4. Standard delivery times include but are not limited to:
    • 8am - 12pm southern suburbs, Monday to Sunday
    • 1pm - 6pm northern suburbs, Monday to Sunday
  5. Deliveries will be made the next day unless the transaction is finalised within 2 hours of store close. Then the delivery will be made in 2 days.
  6. If delivery cannot be made to the location specified due to the nature of the premises, you will be liable for any additional delivery charges and costs including redelivery.
  7. On delivery, you or your representative must check the condition of the goods and whether the correct numbers of parcels have been delivered. In the event of damaged or missing items, you (or your representative) should make a note. Missing items will be reordered, incorrect or damaged items will be returned and replaced free of charge. You must notify IKEA within a reasonable time if you discover any defects at a later time.
IKEA and/or its nominated representative shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of using this service, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits under our guarantee are in addition to other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods.
