"When I work on new ideas I usually use paper collage to build and develop the pattern. I find it a good way to get sharp contrasts and a balance of well-planned and spontaneous elements. The result is a harmony between bold and pleasant. I focused on optical and graphic patterns when I created the JORUN collection and was inspired by the plant and animal kingdoms. I hope you experience the patterns in the collection as clean, linear, simple and elegant."
