Designer thoughts
"I wanted to show nature in the city and the city in nature, and combine different shapes to give the GILDA collection a modern, multicultural expression. I looked at architectural styles around the world, but found my inspiration right here at home in Stockholm. The windows on a high-rise became an abstract pattern for a cushion. And the lights in the window of my favourite Indian restaurant became a rug. They're also the pieces in the collection I'm most pleased with."
