Designers David Wahl and Nicolas Cortolezzis”A freestanding mirror that you can hang clothes on is practical, because you don’t have to screw it into the wall and you can move it. But it has to be extra stable so it won’t tip over and break. When we designed KNAPPER we made the back wider for two reasons; to give room for more clothes, and also for stability. But that’s not what you see when you look at yourself in the mirror. You see yourself in full length, but not what you’ve stored behind the mirror. It’s both better-looking and more practical that way.”
100% lead-free mirrorsMirrors used to be coated with lead, a toxic metal. IKEA was one of the first companies in the world to introduce lead-free coating. So you can rest assured knowing that all our mirrors are 100% lead free. By the way, you look great today.
